Billy Vunipola has been ruled out of the upcoming Quilter International fixtures against South Africa, New Zealand, Japan and Australia after fracturing his left arm against Glasgow.

The number 8 will have surgery on tuesday to mend the injured arm but is expected to be out of action for up to 12 weeks.

This is yet another blow for Billy and for England Coach Eddie Jones as he looks to finalise his squad for the Autumn Internationals.

This is the third time in 10 months that Billy has broken an arm while playing, having previously broken his right arm twice against Ospreys and South Africa respectively. He has a plate inserted into the right arm to rectify the problem.

We wish him a speedy recovery but, with Wasps Nathan Hughes looking like he will pick up a ban this week, could the door be open for a return to England duty for BEN MORGAN after strong display in front of Eddie Jones??
